Privacy Policy
Last updated 1 October 2026
bisaya.dev is a software company based in Argao, Cebu, Philippines. This page covers this website only. Our products (Tixeti, Stoqqi, Suroyn, Peel Japanese and Pundoq) are separate services with their own privacy policies.
The short version: the only thing we collect from visitors on this site is the contact form, and we use it to reply to you. We run no analytics and no tracking. There is nothing here to sign up for.
What the contact form collects
When you send us a message, we store:
- your name, email address, subject and message, as you typed them,
- your IP address and the browser user agent string your browser sent.
The first four are what you are deliberately giving us. The last two are recorded automatically, which is why they are listed here. We keep them so we can tell a real message from automated spam, and so we can rate limit submissions from a single source.
We use all of it to read and reply to your message. Nothing more. We do not sell it, share it, or use it for advertising, and we send no marketing email.
Messages stay in our database until we delete them. If you want yours removed, email us and we will delete it.
Staff accounts
There is no sign-up on this site and no account for visitors to create. The only accounts that exist belong to people who work at bisaya.dev, and we create them ourselves. If you do not work here, this section does not apply to you.
For the people who do, we store:
- name and email address,
- the password, hashed - we cannot read it, and neither can anyone who obtains the database,
- when the account last signed in, how many times it has signed in, and the IP address it signed in from.
Those last ones are recorded automatically rather than typed in, which is why they are listed here. We keep them so we can tell whether an account is being used and notice somebody else getting into it.
If a staff member asks for a password reset, the email carrying that link passes through the company that delivers mail for us. Accounts are closed by us when somebody leaves.
Cookies
One cookie: the session cookie our web framework sets to keep the contact form and staff sign-in working securely. No analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, no third party tracking pixels. We do not run Google Analytics or any equivalent.
Third parties that see your visit
Three, and only because of how the page is built:
- Our hosting provider, which runs the server this site is served from and therefore handles all traffic to it.
- Google Fonts, which serves the two typefaces this page uses. Your browser requests them from Google directly, so Google receives your IP address.
- jsDelivr, which serves two animation libraries used by the graphic at the top of the page, on the same terms.
We do not send any of them your contact form. They see a page request, and that request carries your IP address.
One more, and only for staff accounts: the provider that delivers a password reset email receives the address it is being sent to. Nothing is sent to them about visitors.
Your rights
The Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173) governs this, and the National Privacy Commission is the regulator. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to us holding it. Email [email protected] and we will answer. If you are not satisfied with how we handle it, you can complain to the National Privacy Commission.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. We are not going to quietly widen what we collect and leave this page as it was.
